Justin Ragognetti
Justin Ragognetti, a California native, played competitive junior golf in Orange County before joining the NCAA Division I men’s golf team at William & Mary in Virginia. There he competed in over 45 Division I tournaments and took home several individual and team titles. Following graduation, Justin played professionally in mini tour events before turning his attention to coaching.

Over the course of his 20-year teaching career, Justin has had the pleasure of working with players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Web.com Tour, PGA Tour LATAM, PGA Tour Canada, top-ranked amateurs, and talented junior golfers both from the US and abroad. His players have won countless junior events and he’s helped more than 50 students (and counting!) earn college golf scholarships.

While his approach to golf is founded in the details, science, and body mechanics, his southern California roots contribute to his laid-back, agreeable, and open nature. After all, a study did find that the best personalities are cultivated in California. In all seriousness, a key differentiator between Justin and his peers is his ability to effectively communicate his observations and expertise to any
audience with ease, clarity, and actionable follow-through.

So what’s he got to say?

“Playing great golf is largely about understanding how the arms, body, and club work together to create a solid strike and repeatable ball flight. While the nuances may look different from person to person, all elite players effectively create synergy between their bodies and clubs to execute powerful
and controllable shots again and again.”

When he’s not teaching, you’ll find him spending time with his wife, son, and daughter; binge-watching Netflix documentaries; and occasionally surfing, where he’s “slightly worse than mediocre.”
